EVE JOHNSON HOUGHTON, RACEHORSE TRAINER

Horses cantering on the Pond gallop

Coming in down the avenue after work.

The Johnson Houghton family has been training at Woodway for over 50 years. With a pedigree full of "black type" Eve certainly has the credentials for the job, by a trainer, out of a champion lady jockey, grand-daughter to 2 trainers and great-niece of the champion trainer Fulke Walwyn.

The yard itself is on the downs above Blewbury, away from the hurley burley of the large training centres, yet with all the facilities a modern training establishment needs.

With outstanding facilities, fantastic staff, and a wealth of experience to back her up, Eve Johnson Houghton is already proving why Woodway is the logical place to send your racehorse.

Having privately owned gallops that are second to none, including an all-weather and 200 acres of grass, it is easy to see why there have been so many success stories from the Woodway yard, and Eve is continuing the tradition.
