WHAT ABOUT CARLO - What a star horse he is.  the ground came up perfectly for the old boy at his favourite track Newbury on Saturday and he duly romped home in a listed race.  This was his best performance to date and it just goes to show that old horses can keep on improving as long as they get the right conditions.  We were all thrilled and I was rather embarrassed watching back the ITV coverage as I think, mum & I made a bit of a show or ourselves!

Fleeting Visit and Cool Bahamian also ran nice races on Saturday, both finishing 2nd in competitive handicaps.  It was a busy day for the yard, as I decided to run 3 horses at 3 seperate tracks.  So much so, that I had to draft in a former member of staff, Alan Rutter who is now based in Newmarket, to saddle Cool Bahamian for me.

We are starting off this week quite quietly with Bhindi running at Windsor, she was going OK first time out, before the bit slipped through her mouth and she was virtually pulled up, so lets hope she can put in a better show today.

It has been a lovely season so far for the yard, so fingers crossed we can keep it going and end up with our best ever season.
