Wednesday 28th June

What a fabulous Royal Ascot that was.  We only had 2 runners Optimum Time was a bit disappointing, but Scarlet Dragon ran a blinder under top weight in the Wolferton Stakes finishing a very close up 6th.  All being well he will run in the John Smith’s Cup at York in 2 weeks time.

We have had a couple of winners in the last week with Plymouth Sound winning really well at Lingfield, where he rewarded his extremely patient owners.  His next date will be at the July Horses in Training Sale, where hopefully he will be popular, as he is strong enough to make a lovely hurdler.

Super Julius also won at Wolverhampton on Monday picking up a nice £2000 ROA bonus for his owners Ben & Lena Miller.

Today is extremely busy, with 7 runners in all.   Having never had a runner at Carlisle I am sending 5 up there with a runner in the Carlisle Bell, which is one of the oldest races in history, and a race I have always wanted to have a runner in.

We also have 2 runners at Salisbury, both owned by Henry Ponsonby syndicates.

Lets hope for a few winners by tonight.
