Eden racing had its first runners in 2002.  Since that time, twelve horses have won 32 races, been placed more than 50 times amassing over £577,000 in prize money and bonuses.

Eden Racing was formed almost ten years ago, as an affordable way for people to get involved in racehorse ownership. All our partners have a lot of fun and get maximum enjoyment out of their horses! Besides going racing, there are also open days and a breakfast morning in the spring, where everyone can see the horses in action on the wonderful grass and all weather gallops at Woodway.

Mujood wins again for Eden Racing

MUJOOD – Eden I

2003 Bay Gelding 
by Mujahid out of Waqood

  • Winner of 12 races
  • Placed more than 20 times
  • Collected Goodwood Speed Bonus in 2010

Mujood is without doubt one of the Eden stalwarts and a real old favourite in the yard and at the races. He turns out at all the big meetings and gives the Eden partners a lot of fun and success.

13th September 2011 – Mixed emotions today as Mujood has left the yard for a well earned retirement as a riding horse.  He retired sound having won 12 races from 98 starts.

Orientalist wins Nursery at Sandown - Eden Racing

 

ORIENTALIST – Eden IV

2008 Chestnut Gelding 
by Haafhd out of Oriental Queen

  • Winner of 5 races
  • Including Racing Post Bonus race

Orientalist was the Eden horse for 2010 and proved to be a real superstar, winning 4 races including a Racing Post Bonus race and being placed once.

The club couldn’t part with him at the end of last season so we kept him in the yard for the 2011 campaign.  He rewarded the clubs belief in him by winning The Chantilly Handicap at Epsom in August.

2008 Bay Filly
by Choisir out of Enclave

  • Winner at Ffos Las
A lovely Choisir filly for EDEN RACING CLUB, which was a new idea for 2011.  The shares in Choose The Moment sold out very quickly, which is understandable as she is a very tough filly and the perfect horse to get the club off and running.

 

 

 

 

 

The members are all really keen supporters and travel far and wide to see her in action.

LUNAR DEITY – Eden III & P A Deal

2009 Bay Colt
by Medicean out of Luminda

  • Broke course record at Ffos Las
  • Won £10k Racing Post Bonus
Eden’s new horse for the 2011 season.  He is a lovely colt by Medicean out of a Danehill mare; a half brother to three winners including RHYTHM OF LIGHT, winner of the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot 2011.

 

He is a horse that really covers the ground and looks to be one to follow for the future.  He broke his maiden tag at Ffos Las in very impressive style and picked up a £10k Racing Post Bonus for his efforts.
Lunar Deity has been retained by Eden Racing and P A Deal to run as a three year old in 2012.

 

 

TOUT SEUL
Dewhurst winner - now retired to stud in Italy

2000 Bay Horse
by Ali-Royal out of Total Aloof

Tout Seul was one of the original Eden horses and he certainly kick started Eden Racing, winning 6 races including the Group 1 Dewhurst stakes.

He was retired to stud in 2005 and now stands  in Italy at Tenuta Della Calandrina.
