As you may have noticed, it has been rather a quiet time at Woodway. We have had some placed horses, but really nothing to write home about. In fact, at the moment, I feel as if I would struggle to win an argument….. not something that most people would believe of me!
What a stellar week Richard Hannon is having at Goodwood, I really hope that he can win the trainers title, it would be brilliant to move it about a bit; although I have to admit I am getting a bit of the green eyed monster about me; what wouldn’t any of us give for just one of his lovely 2yos! Let alone Canford Cliffs, Dick Turpin, Paco Boy….. need I go on.
We have got a few runners over the week-end. Kyncraighe would have a little each-way chance in the nursery at Goodwood tomorrow and I think that Sky Flight has a good chance at Lingfield in the evening, she is a bit of a baggage so I hope that she behaves before the race for Tom. I really hope this may be a change of luck for the yard, as we are all feeling a little low, and could do with a pick me up.
We also seem to have more than our normal share of injuries, which is very frustrating, nothing major but all stop the horses when you want to be running them.
