It has rained! Which is wonderful news and this morning we were able to work on the grass gallops. The ground was beautiful and we got some really good work in. FONTLEY was in action in preparation for her big day at Sandown a week on Saturday. She is going for a bonus which will be really tricky to pull off, but very much worth it if all goes to plan. She did a really nice piece of work and is right on track. MR BEN VEREEN is a nice 2yo and he worked with old horses very well, he should be appearing on a racetrack shortly. YURITUNI worked with ROODLE and I was pleased with both of them. Yurituni seems to be getting her sparkle back and Roodle is getting herself ready to run.
On the track, ORIENTALIST is running at Salisbury today where I think he has a good each way chance and we unleash a 2yo first time out at Sandown this evening. I think he will run really well, but will improve markedly for the experience. Tomorrow MUJOOD is going back to Goodwood, where he might get a nasty shock, as we are expecting him to perform over 1m2f! CATCHANOVA is running at Epsom where we are finally hoping to break his duck.
Winners have been few and far between this season, but I am really hoping that we are turning the corner. Fingers crossed that we can have a good end to the season.
